Default I can't wait!

so i've had my drums taken away as a punishment or my report card. so six weeks ago i thought, "Hey, why not get new cymbals" i go through cymbals like men go through toilet paper. so i stuck with zidjian, thought about sabian, but i said no. all new cymbals, i got:
14" K Custom Session Hat Bottom with a 14" A Custom Mastersound Hat Bottom for the bottom, a 19" A Custom Projection Crash, 20" K Crash/Ride, and the ride i can't tell you. It's a zildjian 21", medium thin weight. They haven't released them on the site yet but i'll give you a hint, its like the A Vintage & Cie. line, but larger, and it has to do with the "Cymbals of Peace and Love" you'll find out. Ahhh... the kicks of owning a music store. They'll be in thursday or friday. I'll Post pics the minute i get them, after i play them.

Sounds good.

If you own a music store, does that mean you get gear at trade price?

Ehh?
-Getting drums taken away as punishment? that's like telling a kid he can't go to soccer practice
-then, you're young enough to be grounded, yet old enough to OWN a music store??

I'm sure there's a logical explanation for all this.

Apologies, boxcar.

I didn't mean to be rude, it just seemed a touch far-fetched, however, Co-ownership was a bit clearer.

Congrats on your new acquisitions.

well in that case, i do. but i'm going into the discount, to far, father would have my head. and ya i now its sounds sketchy, an owner of a music store still gets grounded. ya, co-owner. but then i guess i'll let you all in on zildjian's little secret seeing as namm is now or next week, i forget. but the took out the a vintage a cie. line and added the armand line. because of the sucsess of the beautiful baby ride, they added. on july 27, they will post up all new cymbals. 13" and 14" hi hats, 16" and 18" thin and medium thin crashes, 20" and 21" rides (i got the 21") and a 10" splash. they have no coating to get the "aged" look, they have a very close lathing like you'd find on an a custom, and the traditional turkish lathing on the bottom. they'll also be offering a boxset with 14" hats, 16" medium thin crash, and a 20" ride with a free 22" armand signature cymbal bag. the whole "cymbals of peace and love" slogan is obviously because of the use of these stylings in the sixties. artists using are ginger baker, simon philips, ilan rupert of lostprophets, the dude from woldmother, and a lot of older drummers that i forget off of the top of my head but, they'll be a big hit. -boxcar

So a co-owner would mean that you invested as much into the business as your Dad did, or does it mean he owns it and you work there ?
