Default My Setup

Finally got around to taking decent pictures. Here is the setup that i'm currently using. It's an RMV kit. A few things I left out, but this is what I use most of the time. let me know what you guys think :D








Specifics
Pearl Drum Rack

RMV Drums Red satin Finish

8x10 Mounted Tom

9x12 Mounted Tom

13x14 Floor Tom

18x22 Bass Drum

5x14 DW Snare Drum

5x12 Pork Pie snare

Electronics:

Roland TD-8

4 pintech electro pads (only 2 displayed)

DW 5000s DB bass Pedal

RMV hi-hat and snare stand (black)

Cymbals:

14" Z custom hi-hats

16 " Sabian AAX

18" K custom Series

18" A custom Series

14" Z. china

22" Z custom ride

wow, that's a big prog-rock kit :), and then you say you've 'left things out'.. You must have a great time playing that kit.

What are the exact specs?

well the hi-hat and snare stand are RMV so they are black. If you notice the K custom crash and the A custom, are on black cymbal stands. I did those myself. Sanded them, primed them, sprayed them. The first one I did came out like crap. but the other one looks spotless. In time, I will pick up more black hardware.

Very cool hybrid kit! RMV makes some great looking drums -- and I bet they sound great, too. What do you have programmed in to the module? I'd assume toms?

Are you thinking about more effects cymbals? Maybe a splash or too? I think they'd suit you well.

Very cool kit-I've never heard of RMV. Custom built, or knockoffs?
I really like your cymbal selection, except for that 22" Z Custom...I had the same one and it lasted for only one gig. Way too "clangy" for my liking, but if you play heavy metal, then that's the ride for it!!
