Guess who I am having dinner with.....
http://drummerworld.com/drummers/Andy_Newmark.html He and my mum knew each other from years back and he is coming to my town with Brian Ferry and is taking mum and I out to dinner! He's gonna give me heaps of tips etc... I cant wait!

That's one hell of a contact to have. Lucky you. If he's up for talking drums ask him about his approach to timing. He's got some great advice about concentrating on the space between the notes and not the notes themselves.
