Default My kit, a little something different?

Hey there, finally decided to post pictures of my kit. now it's jsut a PDP EZ kit, nothing special, it had a black wrap finish. since my dad is coming back form overseas soon, he said when he gets back he'd buy me a new kit. so i decided to strip the one i had and paint it. now the operation wasn't as successful as i planned, the tape i put on the drums to section it off let the paint drip in from underneath, hence the bad paint job, but i figured, hey, if i'm up on stage, from far away, you won't be able to tell that much. i think it's looks pretty bad, but my friends say it came out great, so i guess it's not THAT bad.
All that's left to do is to get a video of my playing up, and my buddy is coming over with a camera tomorrow to get that done.

Specs:
12,13, and 16" toms
14x6" snare my friend game me because is ounded better than the one i had, i bought a friecracker snare, but it lacked the dynamics i wanted so i put this one back on. i'm going to buy a new snare ASAP
6" and 8"(?) bongos on a stool due to lack of mounting system and money.
14" AA hi hats, brilliant
16" and 18" AA medium thin crash, brilliant
16" AA medium crash, used
22" paragon ride
cowbell, just, a cowbell
my pedal is a single right now because a pice on my double pedal (dw 7000) broke, but on the positive side, my right foot will get stronger.
heads are emperor coated on batter and reso are emperor clears, they had dampening rings because i can't tune worth a damn.

pictures:
sorry about the bad quality, had to use my sister's camera, and the angles aren't fantastic either because my drums are in the very corner of the room

Nice kit, I like the paint job. ;)

How do you like those AA hats? I was thinking of buying some.

Wow I really love this kit, that finish is awesome, and the fact you did it yourself makes it even better.

Gravy- they're really nice, but the dynamic aren't exactly what i thought they were gonna be, for rockin' purposes they're awesome, but the bright cutting sound doens't ALWAYS work out in your favor. but generally speaking, they're great.

and thanks you guys, glad you guys like it. the bonham kit inspired this one 100%. i thought the bonham one just had rings, not spirals, so i thought that i was SOOOooo clever for spiraling the design, and then upon further review of that picture, i felt dumb.

Looks good. And you're right, on stage it would be very hard to see anything amiss.

Bonham's spirals went the opposite direction, so yours is still original ;p

The finish looks great, especially for doing it yourself. The spots where the paint bled through the tape could be touched up with a little bit of detailing i'm sure.
