Default NEPA Drummers

I just talked to the owner of C&C Music in Hazleton, PA - my hometown before I moved to Virginia. I will be teaching a weekend of technique masterclasses and private lessons in late August or early September. Just wondering if there is anyone from that area on Drummerworld - Hazleton, Pottsville, Wilkes-Barre etc...

Jeff

Hey, Jeff...

I live in Meshoppen, 10 miles west of Tunkhannock. I get to Hazleton quite often. I've never been to C&C. I'll have to look them up.

Ha, I've got family in Meshoppen and I'm actually heading up there this week to visit. Not every day you find someone else from around there.

Sunbury, and there are like 6 others around there as well. However, if any place to teach a masterclass, it would be Dale's.

Keep watching this post. I'll let you know as soon as we settle on the dates. It will most likely be a two day weekend masterclass 2 1/2 or 3 hrs. each day. The price will be $75 for the technique masterclass. I think the price is more than fair. I'll also be doing a limited number of private lessons.

OK Jeff,

I'll watch...I'll try to fit you into my budget and schedule.

Hey, BuddyLee87,

Meshoppen is a pretty small town. I think most folks know who I am. Who knows, I just might be your family's neighbor. If I am, I'm sure they've heard me drumming! lol

They own/run Slumber Valley Campground, if you're familiar with that at all.

Hey Jeff,

I used to play with the group Kartune from the Hazleton area. I know Ray from C&C and I believe I've met you already...did you teach at C&C?

Yes. I taught at C&C for years. Now I am performing professionally and teaching at Richmond Music as well as my own studio. I've been writing a technique book that is being looked at by a major publishing company. The master class at C&C is a trial run for more workshops if the book gets picked up.

Private message me and we'll exchange names. We probably have met before.

Jeff
