Default Linear Groove books?

Hey all,

I'm looking for a good book that focuses mostly on linear grooves. I've exhausted the linear grooves section of Mike Clark's Advanced Funk Drumming, as well as the ones in Rick Latham's Funk Drums book.

Thanks ahead of time!

Make up your own, the Gary Chaffe way! Play rudiments between the snare and hi hats and substitute some of the hits for bass hits and hi hat openings.

Or get Lathams second book.

Quite a few in David Garibaldi's Future sounds as well.

Though I have not seen the book , I've heard that Frank Katz book had quite a few linear grooves as well.

Sweet! Thanks for the link, man! Yeah, when I get some cash, I'm definitely going to get my hands on a few books, especially David Garibaldi's.

Mel Bay's Complete Modern Drum Set by Frank Briggs

...some *awesome* linear grooves in there...both patterns and actual grooves. I'd get the book and not bother w/ the DVD, personally.

Gary Chaffee's book is really good. Jungle/Drum and Bass by Johnny Rabb also has a nice linear section.
