You just buy two racks and stack them. The hardware is available. I hade the full Tama Tower in the 80's it did look great. Pain in the ass to transport.

I honestly don't think they're available anymore. The two companies that I remember who made them were Gibraltar and Tama. I agree with bighaibigdrums, the hardware is available to peice together...that might be the only route unless you can score one on Ebay.

I second what the others have said. You'll have to buy a Gibraltar, Tama, PDP or Pearl rack and then get the extra parts to set it up as a double leveled rack.

I absolutely can't stand the look of the 80's Tama power tower or whatever the heck they were called. Don't get me wrong, I like big kits but come on.

But it made for a great show when I put the police lights on the top bar and climbed up to the top after my solo.

I totally forgot that PDP makes racks, they don't look too bad. That Bozzio setup is sickening! Too crazy for me.

It would be cool if you could get one.

Just talk to someone at your drum shop and get them to help you put the rack together....

Yamaha used to make a cool one that was super solid and sturdy but man was it expensive. I entertained the thought a few times of getting a tiered rack from gibraltar back in the early '90's but price and the pain of transporting it quickly got me to change my mind. They looked cool but not worth the extra cash and hassles unless you've got a sponsor and a roadie ;-)

You needed a vine to swing across the stage on as well!
