Not at all.

It is very, very comfortable. Took about an hour to get used to. It is nice to have the 2 over the hi hat.

Thanks for the response

I like the finish. Doesn't look very comfy. But very nice.

There are 2 racks. I bought one for $300 and another for $185. I then bought 1 long straight piece for my 8 and 10 toms for about 20.

So, right around 500. That doesn't include some of the cymbal / boom stands / remote hi hat stands etc...

That is one stunning set!! Love the 2-up, 2-middle, 2-down tom set-up. Beautiful finish. Its cool that white tends to take on whatever color light is shown on it. That will look fantastic onstage!!

I have one each of the paragon line. I will put down what I paid for each. I bought them piece meal. In other words, I shopped online, music stores and eBay.

16, 18 crash and 21china were packed together. Got them for 225 shipped from eBay new.
19 china off ebay. 115 new

20 Crash 125 new from eBay

14 hi hats. New from eBay. 180
13 hi hats. Floor model at GC. 170 out the door
22 ride. Used off eBay. 180 shipped
10 and 8 splash pack. 100 new eBay.

So, total, I paid $1030 for these. Would have cost nearly 2k if I bought the set whole off of eBay.

That finish makes me warm and tingly all over......After seeing the drum set up , I was gonna comment on how a particular Rush drummer has a verrry similar one (then again I didn't even notice you had Paragon cymbals...Long week at work :)) I therefore won't post the "Rush" comment.

Great looking kit - simply fabulous choice in drums and cymbals. They will look amazing under stage lights.
Enjoy.

Peace.

Hey Elvis,

I like the Paragons very much. Good sounding hi hats, absolutely incredible ride, great 19 china and the splashes are second to none in my opinion. I liked the sound of my mastersounds better than the hi hats I have now, but not by too much.

I really like the crashes, but again, not the best I have ever heard. None of them are as good as my old 18 evolution crash. However, together the set sounds incredible. I thought that the whole "sonically matched" cliche was BS. I was wrong. Everything in the set sounds amazing together.

The ride is honestly the best ride I have ever heard for rock. That is what I play, but it isn't the most versitile. Very little wash at all. Very dry and pingy. The bell sounds like a church! Amazing.

The 16 crash is very good.

All in all, I love the set of them together. No buyers remorse. I do miss my 14 mastersounds and 18 evolution sometimes.

I am thinking about building my own set soon. Like Larlev.

Talk to you soon!!!!

Mike

very nice kit, I take it you have a gigging kit as well because that would seem to be very hard to set up at a show.

It is my only kit. I don't gig. I just jam with my brother, who is a guitar player. I am 36 with 2 kids and a wife.

Eventually, when I feel I am good enough to audition for a band, I might. A couple more years and hopefully I will be ready.

I am looking maybe for a 4 piece kit. Don't know what to get. I will keep looking!

Thanks
