Default Mapex Orion for $400

although i love great deals, i am gonna pass on this one. But thought i would pass it along to the group. I dont know anything about it, but the price makes it at LEAST worth an email or phone call.

whoa, can't top that, I was considering this one for a time, but then decided no (can't risk spending the $ with some job stability issues)- http://www.musicgoround.com/gear/inv....asp?id=439316

Definitely ask for more pics before you take the plunge. The older Orion kits are very nice as well, but I wouldn't buy that kit based on those (very poor) pictures alone. I think you also have to keep in mind that you already have at least one pro-level kit and whilst I'm not suggesting that you can have *too* many drums, you're not in desperate need of a quality kit seeing as you have the DW's.

Seems like a very good deal, I played a recent version of the Orion some months ago and it sounded very good, especially the bassdrum was a beast. But since those seem to be a bit older I'd wait for better pictures to decide.
