Dude, I am not into cymbals at all, but something tells me that you have purchased great instruments there. And those pedals are very good too if I can believe everything that is said about them..

Well I don't know if thats your taste or not but I love those cymbals man! Awesome pedal too (just don't play too hard, you might snap them in half!!!), thats the next thing thats going to be added on my set (except will be the 9000 series). Are they all brand new?

Peace
AGR

WOW! Those cymbals look really nice!
Funny that you bought a double pedal and those cymbals at the same time!

Thanks everyone. Truth be known I have wanted the Cons since I was 9 years old, I love that dry sound for just playing at home for myself. No, with the kind of studio work I do I don't have much use for them there, I use A customs for that. I bought the dw 5000 pedal and it is a whole lot quieter than the Mapex pedals I had been using. I also loved the 'massive' feel of the beaters. Something felt different with the 9000 that I did not care for so much.

Congrats on the new gear.....those cymbals are beautiful!! I have the 5002 Accelerator pedals and I like them a lot. I had to change the beaters to Danmar felts though, I did not like the heavy feel of the beaters. I have been eyeing the yamaha Flying Dragons, those pedals are soooo smooth!! Enjoy the new gear!!!

It is the 22 medium ride. It has beautiful wash and overtones. When you hold the rim really close to your ear after a soft strike it sounds like a low string on a piano vibrating.

I really like the feel of the heavy beaters. I did have to tighted up the tension springs all the way to get the "feel" that I like. Feels like an Italian sports car compared to my old Mapex or PDP pedals.

The 22 Medium "Konstantinople" (haha puns..its a K and..nvm) seems to be the most popular. I guess it sounds good, I've never seen one so I don't really know. I'm still wondering why there's people out there who are just able to buy these things even when they don't need them. I never got into the double pedal deal myself, but good luck with that too. I guess we are all just jealous...
