Default Here are some pictures.....

Here are some pics of my drums........I hope you like what you see......The blue ones were Imported Majestic Drums purched in the very early 60's. I learned how to play on these. Then in 1968, I bought a Rogers DynaSonic which is in Museum Condition. The Dyna is in the picture with all the snares. I put it away since I have so many other snares to play. The picture of the vintage Fibes were purchased in 1971, also in museum condition, manufactured by C.F. Martin in Farmingdale NY, very rare. Then I posted a picture of my Fibes Austin drums, custom wrapped in chrome. these drums have some warmth to them, especially for modern drums, probably the Jaspar Maple shells. I usually use my early 70's vintage Fibes 5 1/2 x 14 snare with this set (kit).

If you have questions please feel free, and please do comment! thanks

Those Fibes look perfect, just awesome. WOW. You don't see a lot of great chrome sets nowadays.

Thanks.

I had the Austin Fibes custom wrapped. The "New Fibes" drum company does not offer Chrome wrap on their drums, only on their fiberglass snare offered and only in 5 1/2 x 14 & b 1/2 x 14.

You seem to know about old drums :) I need to ask you something. Do you know anything about 'Haymen' snare drums, or Hoshino drums? Hoshino sounds like Pre-Tama company but they anre't. My Grandad left me a Hoshino kit with a beautiful 'George Haymen' snare but he passed away so I can't find out how he got it or anything.Any info?
Thanks
Tom

Maddrummr: Yes, lots of museum vintage stuff,

Tomodrum...No I've know of Kaymen but I suggest http://www.vintagedrums.com Ask on their vintage forum. If it was out there somebody knows on that site.

Absolutely beautiful! Do you have a hard time keeping them clean?

Thanks. The pictures don't do them justice. Even my YouTubes don't them justice, though they are better.

The Fibes are easy to clean. The snares are much harder since you tend to touch them more.
