Agreed - show us these things on your set.

That snare is mindblowing. I'd love to have it - don't let me get near you or you might find it missing!

More specs onthe snare - I hear Odery in brazil even makes pine drums.

what a co-incidence. even i got the k custom medium ride 22, and was thinkin of pickin up either the k custom dark crash or the k dark crask.

i will post my pics as soon as i decide on the crash. but meanwhile we need to see yours. the ride u have posted is not the same.

That snare is so tasty i want to eat it.
And how much "cut" is there in the projection crash?

I know I know...all forgive me for posting the pic of a K Custom Ride instead of my medium. I will post real pics as soon as I can.
Ahhh...the snare. Well, to be curt: it's mind-BLOWING. I anyway like to crank up the tuning on my snares, and this baby just CUTS through ANYTHING. It's the warmest snare with the sweetest projection I have ever played on, period. And it's ALL wood, Imbuia, to be exact. With an Evans Hydraulic head on batterside, and a clear on on the bottom. Phat tone.
I love my new cymbals. I can't stop raving about the ride, but that's for some other post. As for the A Custom Projection Crash, that's a bright, smooth baby, AND it is loud, with a shimmer sustain.
The Dark Crash, on the other hand, is the most interesting cymbals I've ever played. Hit full on or softer, it either purrs or breaks into a dark growl: and a very sexy growl at that. And it just melts into the music, man. That's so unbelievable.
Really, I had not much experience playing Ks before, and had a basic idea, but the entire spectrum of tonality that these cymbals have opened up is pretty sure amazing.

Rarely am I jealous of anything in this section...

...but I WANT YOUR SNARE!

I absolutely ADORE Odery's drums.

Beautiful!

I'm normally not much of a fan of matte/satin finishes, but that Odery is just beautiful.

Good to see you're getting a good dose of vitamin A and K.
