Default My Sonor 3005 Kit - CODE RED baby......

I thought that I would show my baby off to the world........I am not too fond of red heads, but this one I think I'll keep for a while. Enjoy the pics and let me know what you think. Thanks!!!

**note- I am using Remo Emperors on top and Ambassadors on bottom. No too crazy about the sound. they are tight sounding (decay) but not as punchy as I would like. I was thinking of going to coated emperors, or even the EC2 clear or coated series Evans. Please feel free to lend me your opinions. I would really be interested in Sonor 3005 players or similar sized shell kit owners (Tama Starclassic, Mapex Pro-M or Saturn)

Thanks!!!!

Thank you very much. I have had this style of set up for about 15 years. It seems to fit whatever style I need to play live.

Thanks again for the look!!!

I like what you did with your cymbals and 8" (right?) tom, all mounted to but a few stands, I have a stand for everything, but this looks a lot cleaner :-)

I'm on my way from Seminole to check those babies out, up close and personal.
Very nice.

Wow love that cymbal set up

Any reason why your using clear heads on the snare? Not a brush player id guess

The clears were my mistake when I ordered the new heads to replace the stock heads. I ordered the kit from MassMusic.net. They are awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Instead of selecting the coated Ambassadors, I selected the clear. They were immediately replaced..........oh, and yes I do brush often.........I am going to change all the heads to EC2 Clears on all the toms, Reverse Power Dot on the main snare and a G2 coated on the 12" side snare in a few weeks.

Thanks for the look and I appreciate the comments!!

Thank you very much!! All of the cymbals are Sabian AAX's. 8,10,12 splash, 16,17 AAXplosion crashes, 14,16 China's, 20 heavy ride, 13 fusion hi-hats. They sound awesome!

Thanks for the look and for the comments!! I appreciate it very much!
