Want to see what your kit will look like in 10 years? My PORK PIE maple kit has turned slightly honey amber and gets better looking with each year.

holy drumgasm! I am in love with porkpie snares! their drums must be insane! those look like they were made in America, thus no tuning problems. props on your purchase.

I love this kit! The finish is beautiful, the drums are spare, mean and clean, very economical looking to spite the fact that it is a borderline "big" kit. I also like your unpretentious cymbal set-up. These things must be a joy to both play and behold. I'm proud of 'em and I don't even own 'em....

Ok... When did you come up with that... I made it up at least a year ago... We need to see who really came up with it first.... ;)

So far Pork Pies are the most beautiful drums I've ever seen, I don't know what exactly I like about them so much, perhaps it's this smoothness, they look simply perfect.

Great kit, and the clean look is just amazing. That kit looks amazing, but I just always go cross-eyed looking at lefty kits. I like the tom holders too!

Hey , Nice Pies!! I just sold a set of ludwigs in that same finish to get my new pork pie kit in blue sparkle. Since I had that finish for like 10 years , I opted for something different but Clear maple is a great finish! My 10 and 12 toms are the same as you , except I went for the 14x12 and 16x14 instead of the square sizes. How are you liking those fl toms? I cant wait for my G2 coated heads to get here , so I can tune them the way I like them. I not a big fan of the ambassadors that come with the drums. Very cool! Enjoy -

Very Cool! I ordered it thru Dana at Bentleys drumshop in Fresno CA.
They were very cool to work with and had the best price that I found in the country. I called everyone of the dealers listed on the Pork Pie dealers page ... LOL
http://www.bentleysdrumshop.com/

I like the sound of the amabassadors , and they would be great for recording etc but for me they just dont hold up enough for general and live playing.
