Hey. thanks for checkin it out! I almost got the catalina ash but I liked the ddrum better , reason being, 1. this kit has all die cast hoops, 2. I liked the sizes better(ecspecially the 20x20kick) 3. the ddrum has a 20 lug kick the gretsch ony has 16, 4. i love this finish. 5. this kit comes with 2 floor toms. the gretsch didnt. Cheers!

LOL There not pine haha there 100% ASH shells.

For those who wanted to know how much this kit cost me well for the shell pack plus 2 stands, a hi hat stand(which i dont use) a snare stand and a kick pedal ran me around $2000.00. Cheers!

if it sounds half as good as it looks, it's fantastic.

can you desribe the sound of it? more kick, less bass, or simply good?

Lovely kit. I just ordered the same kit but in the Hardtail Burst (blue fade, check it out http://cachemi.zzounds.com/media/qua...f276da5129.jpg) color. Gonna have to wait 2-4 weeks for it. It's gonna be a long wait.

This is an awesome kit. I just got my ddrum dominion ash pocket in blackburst and it looks and sounds awesome. sounds more expensive than it is. Great kit overall and am thinking on adding a 10 matching tom.

Awesome kit man, anaheim orange is my favorite color for those dominion drums! Ddrum has way more bang for the buck than most other brands.
