Default What bottom for my Paiste 2002 Heavy hi-hat top?

So I just got a 13" 2002 heavy hi-hat top used at Guitar Center. I've been looking for the bottom on the internet, but I haven't been able to find one. What would you guys recommend for the bottom? I (and my friend, who also uses the kit) play mostly death and black metal, so we need something powerful and cutting. Does anyone know of a site where I can find the bottom half?

Thanks for your help.

i know i sounds a bit strange but i think a 13" Sabian AAX-AA-HH Fusion bottom would sound nice with that top.. either that or find a heavy Paiste bottom.. the bottom cymbal i would say needs to be a bit heavier..as in finding one i dont know..

Is that an older model 2oo2? I didn't think they made heavy's in 13" anymore, maybe that's why you can't find the bottom. You could get a signature heavy bottom in 13," but since you got a used top I'm guessing you'd probably like to pay less than ridiculous prices in which case a sig definitely wouldn't be the way to go.

If you haven't already done so, I'd type in '13" hi-hats' on eBay and see what you search results you get, people knock eBay but I've gotten some good stuff for cheap. I know I see 2oo2 heavy's pop up every couple weeks.

Too bad it's a 13". I have an Alpha 14" Power hat bottom here for no particular reason. It does make a nice effect cymbal though.

Yeah, I've checked ebay and haven't found anything yet. Most people sell the sets, rather than the bottom and top individually. I think I might've found a place that'll sell the Alpha Sound Edge bottom. The Sabian's might be a little pricey for me, but I'll check them out too. Thanks for your replies.

it seems like Paiste doesn't have 13" in the Alpha series.

they do have SE in 13" in the 2002 and Sigs and also have "Heavy" in the Sigs as well.
