Default I love Christmas

I updated basically all of my hardware and got a new cymbal.

Premier Cabria (2003)

Pearls Masters BSX Snare(5 and 1/2X14")

CYMBALS: Zildjian

A Medium Thin 18" crash
K Custom Session 14" Hi-Hats
K Custom 15" Fast Crash
K Thin Dark 16" Crash
A Splash 10"
K Custom 16" Fast Crash
K Custom 20" Ride
Wuhan 18" China

HARDWARE:

Pearl DR 503 Drum Rack
FOUR Pearl BC 2000 Boom Cymbal Stands
Pearl C-100 Cymbal Stand

Tama Iron Cobra Powerglide Double Pedal

The New Stuff: all of the hardware excluding the rack and Iron Cobra. I switched out the A 15" crash for the 15" custom session. I also bought a 16" Sabian Vault, but I don't have it yet.

Awesome! the hanging looks sick man. How do the stands hold up to that? also i am gonna be buying a 18" K dark crash after christmas. Will that blend with A hats and 17" crash and A custom ride and splash? how do the K dark cymbals sound really? also I want a china more and more> I am thinking a 14" Wuhan. would that be loud enough. or would it sound like just another splash?
BTW nice hat stand. i have the model below it. Your set looks so "finished" ur band is awesome too man.

It's good to see you're getting a good dose of Vitamin K. I keep my session ride in bed next to me...

Thanks all!

Karl: No way I'm switching out those hats :) haha. Although I am looking to buy a second pair of the new beats, or the K darks

Wes: Judging by how you're in a funk band, I think that the 14" Wuhan would work well because you can get some cool sounds out of it. I think that the 18" K dark would work well, but it's utlimately up to you considering how i have a unique cymbal taste. By the way, thanks for looking at my band!

That is because you are my guitarist... plus I gave you a free stand and a free hi-hat stand... So we're even!

I got the new Vault now :) Here are some more pics of the complete setup... Unfortunately it's too big for an overhead view!

a lot. all the stands together cost about... 650. the vault was 120 and the 15" K was 200.. so that comes out to 850. Unfortunately i had to put up for half :(.

Ya, but you'll have the pride now knowing that you worked hard to get the new toys you love so much. :) Just wait until you're married, and your wife wants you to give her an equal amount of money for new clothes for what you just spent on new gear. hah!
