Indeed they do sound amazing. I picked up a vintage supra a few months ago and i totally love it. Most amazing snare ive ever heard. If you are thinking about buying one, you wont regret it.

I'm a Ludwig man myself, very nice kit! I almost went with the silver sparkle also, but decided on the green sparkle instead.

Nice kit. Is it me or are your hats huge? Think my eyes are playing tricks. What are your cymbal specs by the way?

Did you buy one of the standard kits, or customize the whole thing? Which mount is that on the bass drum for the toms and cymbal? I already have a supraphonic and all the hardware, so I plan to get just the bass, tom, and floor tom, except I lust for gold sparkle!

It`s a standard kit and I added the 16. Also came with a 5 x 14 matching snare. but I prefer the supra.

As they should. They sound every bit as good as my DWs, although the DWs finish is better. Ludwigs are so cool. They have a great history.

Agreed. I have one thats i believe 5 x 14. maybe 5.5 But its definitely not a 6er. They are also the most recorded snare out there.
BTW OP your kit is killer. looks like an old rogers kit to me..
