Really,

If your gonna do it up, go all the the way!

Don't stop short @ the stands!

Only kiddin', thats a beautiful kit, i'm sure your very proud.

I too would have such a kit, but my pesky children will some day have to go to college.

Oh yeah, and the roof over thier heads until then.

Is it just me, or when you see heads with circles around them like those, you just think about how smooth and deep and warm the tom must sound? I dunno, but when I see kits that are set up like that, I just think about how easy and clean is must be to play on it.

Niiice. I have the SAME.............................................. throne. haha.
I have a yamaha in a Nateral wood finish. I LOVE it. my drum teacher used to use 5000 pedals and hi hat, now he has all 9000 hard ware. That will set u back regardless of ur pure sex kit eh. How much was each boom? I am gonna be buying a K dark crash 18" over the holidays, is it super thin? cause i like the sound, but i think it may be too thin for my versatile music.

HOLY CRIZZZAP! What a nice set up. I have close to the same tubs (minus your 8" tom) but you kick my ass on cymbals. Although i have some nice zildjians, you get to go back and fourth with Paiste.

Nicely done.

Nice kit. Nice cymbal selection too. It's all about the Mastersound hats. They are so sweet. I have the 13 inch myself.

It's not fair that one drummer should have ALL these cymbals! You must send some to us less fortunate drummers...P L E E E E E E A S E?

P.S. I'm willing to fight anyone for the K Con Ride and a K China. Anyone?

Default @ all

thanks for your lovely comments ...

first, it wasn't as expensive as it looks. the money came from my old company (i lost my long time job there four years ago) and after selling my ten piece designer kit with all the awesome matching hardware. :(

i'm just playing for my own, and i'm defintely the worst drummer worldwide (ask my former bandmates), but i'm really enthusiastic in getting a perfect sound ... with this shells and cymbals it's probably possible. ;)

last, excuse my bad english ... i'm 47 and a long time out of school. i'm graphic designer and now working in a little insurance company. it's a low paid job, but safe. more worth than money, in this time. the best is, i have time enough to play my drums in my basement. whenever i want. :)

... and merry christmas and a happy new year.

not shown are the 14x12 and 16x14 toms, which sound more resonant than the floor toms.

AWESOME KIT!
Though, one thing really bothers me. Why is the batter of your left pedal closer to the bassdrumhead than the batter of the right pedal? I've heard of drummers that do it cuz "their left foot is less good than the right", but in that case you have to develop your left foot I believe.
So my question, why? :)

Default foot pedal

thanks for your comments, guys ... that's very kind of you.

@ TimeConsumer

it's like timebandit said: i have no idea, why this happened. (in playing soccer i was a "leftfood"). after i adjusted them first they were both equal. by the way, i don't use the left pedal very often ... i try and practice, but ... you know? ;)

@ Salicete and timebandit

some of the designer shells (especially the 8") were changing their colour a little bit ... they went to a more yellowish look than the others. sonor told me that this is a normal process ... and i have no chance to do something against, just paint over them. also, five years ago there was no opinion for inner veneer and for satin oil.
the deedubs are looking much better because they match inside and outside perfectly. and that is what i want and what i love.
