Nice girlfriend!! That blue bell ride is not a cheap date! Congrats, awesome looking cymbal - I need to get to the store and hear one when they get one in stock.

Mine are dwindling down because when I break one I have to replace it with a little less expensive Sabian...Wife and 3 kids=less $$ for cool drum stuff.

14" Signature Dark Crisp Bottom with Power top (flipped over because I cracked the Power top). They still sound great though.

18" Signature Full Crash

20" Signature Power ride

Here are some pics of my baby's!

12" 300 splash. Nothing to tell. Just bought one years ago.
15" Formula 602 Sound Edge HiHats. My dad bought them new in 1969. I love these hats, and just can't get used to anything else.

From left to right

20" Stambul '65 Ride. Nice bright cutting sound. Tons of ring. Rings for every.

18" Formula 602 Ride (I think). I crash it a lot, but I do think it's more a ride cymbal. I found this second hand and snapped it up. It has a dryer sound with much less decay than my other ride.

14" Stambul '65 HiHats. I bought these for $10, just to use as a trashy aux hihat. The top cymbal has some damage on the lip and 2 cracks at the hole. I'm using the bottom as a crash sometimes, and I really like it for that. Some gig's I use just it and the 12" splash as my crash cymbals. I have an 18" 101 my dad found. It's not pictured and I generally only use it when mounting the top 14" hh directly on it for something really trashy sounding.

The last is a 16" Signiture China High. I luuuuuuuuuuuuuuv this cymbal. And as you can see from the pic I use it the wrong way up; or is it the right way up??? I ride on it a lot and the crash sound decays longer this way.

Anyway, that's my lot. Thanks for listening ;) :)

Bump! A used but great condition 20" Traditionals Medium Ride. Picked it up today for $140 USD. Probably the best deal I've gotten on a cymbal ever. This baby's a keeper.

Bump again. New 20" 505 Ride: to my ears it's the perfect rock ride cymbal. Great stick definition and wash, sweet crash, and nice warm overtones.

In case you couldn't tell I'm anal retentive about documenting my Paistes thoroughly with the camera.

I haven't got the complete list to hand, there's far too many.

Here's my whites on my RCI kit though.

MacMarkus nailed the pronunciation. As my Bavarian great-grandma would pronounce it: Pie (as in apple Pie)-Ste.

Sweet looking pies TCT2! I really love your chinas, Paiste's chinas always sound great, and I love their low-profile design.
