As to the positioning of the kit, it is set up to play open, so the hi hat is in the position of a tom drum, and you can float over the hi hat or include it in the fill pattern no problem.

Here is a series of shots left to right and as you see every thing is nice and tight.


14X14, 8X8, 10X10 14X5 PurpleHeart/Paduk Joshuatree Stave snare







14X8 signature snare, 12X12, 13X13, 14X14





14X14, 15X18 floor tom



setup for left hand open playing, hi hat forward position.


therefore my pedals are so.




so actually the kit is pretty tight

Man... not the rolls of drums.. the godzilla of drums! I used this type of kit a while back to compare the imposing "attitude" they have compared to Spirit drums. Both have this monsterous presence... manly man drums.

I have read some people don't dig the lugs, but I remember the era that the drum kit was made. It was all about massive, solid stage image. Those drums are just awesome!

Playing side snare on the Signature Kit and fits in perfectly both sonicly and visually
