Their music was pretty influential on me as a teen... Granted, I spent more time on the half-pipe listening to them than I did practicing their licks.

It's always sad when someone passes so young. I was only familiar with "Don't Want To Know If You're Lonely", but I know that Husker Du had a strong legacy.

I grew up listening to Husker Du, thanks to my older brother, and their music still takes me back to that time in my life. I'm going to have go listen to Zen Arcade. May he rest in peace.

Thanks for noting this. Grant Hart's drumming and songwriting, and Husker Du as a band, was really important to me as a kid, and I've listened to them a lot over the years.

Sad to hear. Always enjoyed Husker Du, and their music was a huge part of the soundtrack to my life during my early band days.

And he put out some really nice solo work after Husker, very underrated stuff. Very sad to see him go, especially so young.
