Default Check out my Ludwig

Hi guys. I posted pics of my Ludwig a long time ago. My toms were awfully far apart, I had no bass drum reso, and had one crash. But, I'm back with two crashes (16" and 18").

Gotta love the cracked ZXT in the background.

It may not look it, but this is a very comfy setup. I've had some comments on the two crashes placed by the rack toms and I was wondering if anyone else has a similar layout?

Specs:
Ludwig Accent Combo
22" x 16" bass, 12" x 10" and 13" x 11" toms, 16" x 16" floor tom, and a 6-1/2" x 14" snare.
Planet Z hats, Crash/Ride
ZBT 16" and 18" Crashes
---
Soon to upgrade ride cymbal. Then a new snare!

Looks like a nice space to play in, though you must get some wicked reflections! I don't think there is anything wrong with your cymbal layout. I like to keep a ride right next to the hats, a ride right over the floor tom, and then the two crashes in the middle.

Oh yes, plenty of reflections. Looks cool at first, but it gets kind of annoying when taking pics from behind the kit.
Any more comments? I'm going to try to get some more pics tonight.

I thought he was referring to the sound, with all those parallel block walls in that room. It's a nice kit, and your cymbal layout is a very common one.

Dude nice set, my friends looking to buy something similar and im not stopping him because those look like decent drum sets. And i would do something with that broken crash, mod it or hang it up somewhere. I love abusing my stuff when its broken LOL.

Yeah, the mounting system was a pain to get how I wanted it. But, patience is a virtue.
Your friend is making a good decision. This kit sounds great. The shells are quite dynamic and you can really get a full feel for the toms. The snare works okay with the kit, but I want a new one to get a better sound.
That ZXT is now hanging on the wall. Little reminder of how bad I used to be. But to people who come over, they're always like "Wow thats amazing!"
Got me some Evans G1 heads, and an E-MAD kick head. Man, my kick has some kick now!
