Default Favourite Forum Member(s)

hey, i just started this thread out of interest, wondering who is the most favourite or respected forum member. personally, i think MFB is my favourite, always good advice and a balanced view on threads, also a very nice person. what are your thoughts? and by the way, please dont turn this into a most hated forum member thread, that would ruin it.

Well I don't honestly know what to say. Thanks Gusty. I'm humbled for sure, and I'm capable of being a total git when the time comes. Have a very nasty feeling this thread is going to get very deleted very soon though.

That is a tough one. I have to agree though, I have always had good interaction with MFB as well, and I respect him. Nutha Jason has always been helpful, as well as Dogbreath (Gotta kiss up ya know)..;) Wegadrummer, so many people. The one I have had the most interaction with I believe though is "Jason Dorn".

I remember first joing up with all these guys on drummerworld eons ago before I went offline for a year. I respect most everyone here on this site, But these are the ones I have interacted with the most and know.

I'd have to agree on liking quite a few, there's enough of them that I wouldn't want to list in fear of forgetting someone. MFB, Stu (who still posts here and there I see), the admins, Bernhard are all good examples though. Womble, Gruntersdad, Finhiggins (especially when he and Stu argue)...etc. just too many.

Hands down it is Stu!

Great personality! Usually good advice and straight to the point.

I believe DW is better when he is actively participating.

What is this, high school again?

Anyway, I like lowtech. He's cantankerous, but fair and informative and fun to read. I like brokenhalo because he's an all-around nice person but he doesn't post here as much. Fourstringdrums also seems nice. Nutha does a good job of fairly and diplomatically administering this place and I respect that ability.

Does the winner get a pretty diamond tiara to wear with "most popular DW member" engraved on it?

We should have a DW member contest - categories like Most Helpful Member, Hottest Male Member (err, wait...like, as in a member who is male), Hottest Female Member, Most Improved Noob etc. Could be fun. People could nominate for each category and then the top 5 nominated would be the people we have to vote on.

Back on topic - It would be hard to pick a favourite. I'd have to say MFB, coz after an incident with a poster on here when I was fairly new, MFB told me he respected me (but, will he respect me in the morning? lol), and I'd also have to say Glynes, because she's such an inspiration to me.

I like very much jazzgregg, his knowledge in jazz is absolutely astonishing, every discussion I had with him, I fell like I was someone because he has very good respect in people and I feel everytime that I have learned something.

Then I always like seeing "our" Stu post, he has always something devilish to say and make you want to reply back...

Finally, I like radiofriendlyunitshifter because he's my Aquarian preacher backup ah ! ah ! ah !

I like Stu a lot. He was the one that ended my ridiculous buyers remorse after I bought my Yammies. Hes also helped me out with a ridiculous amount of other things, ranging from technique to even the beat in "Run to the Hills."

Of course, theres MFB, Finns, and Mattsmith. Oh, and I almost forgot FourstringDrums. Theyre all pretty cool guys. I wouldnt mind meeting up with some of them...

Edit: Rendezvous, Glynes, and the admin/mods, too!

Bernhard, for this amazing place. Nutha, for his consistently helpful, inspirational, and thought-provoking posts. The pros who take time out from their crazy schedules to help us with our problems and answer questions about themselves. And all of you great guys and gals who keep a positive attitude and keep the spirit of this community alive. You rock!

derek. who so generously donates his great instructional material.

but i kid. favouritism is bad here. i like anyone until they let us down and even then they get a few chances. sometimes its also from whence it comes. i got to say that i have lots of respect for the guys who stick around and post regularly for long periods of time while not getting caught up in negative emmotion...folks like wega, aahz rendez, cdawg, franklin and the duke too mention a very short list.

and i got to put a word in for my collegues. as MFB once said... i'll kill them last. jokes. huge respect for DB and Bernhard.

sorry nutha, i dont want this to be a 'favourite' thing. thats like being picked for footy teams at lunch, great being the first few but totally sucks being the last ones. i want this to be a more 'respected' thread.

also id like to add karl, hes an awsome drummer and forum contributer; nutha, DB, and ofcource Bernard for putting this forum up and keeping it together, without u guys we wouldnt have anywhere to discuss our passion(or i wouldnt); finnhiggens, i think your a great advicor, and always willing to post; anyone else who i forgot, mostly those good contributors. also stu, who i think has a 'tough but fair' kinda addittude. which is not a bad thing.

Well, we all know who is going to win the "Youngest looking female for her age-member"!!! Can you be voted "Hottest male member" without having a picture uploaded? You know it's the inside that counts, and i'm very hot on the inside!! i guess i had to much chili (okay these jokes are getting stupid so i'll stop now)

Back on track - i'm only going to vote once, so there's no leaving someone out... And it has to be Derrick.
