Roc-n-soc nitro w/ backrest. For the most used piece of the kit...hell yes.

just bought a DW Airlift and retired my Roc n Soc. they are very similar but the Dw seat is firmer and not as bouncy (which I like)

Do you mean you like the firmer feel? I am using one of these DW thrones but will be interested to see the MD article.

Yeah, I may have said that wrong... The Dw has a firmer seat which I do like alot better. It does give a little but not like the roc n soc I had. I prefer a more stable position.

if you're looking for a comfortable chaep throne, Percussion Plus has a rather nice one
