nice... great story Aaron, glad you didn't manage to sell them, they are what I call... "future classic" haha

you should be able to get some sort of badge from pearl, possibly even through your local drum dealer, I doubt you'll be able to get replacement "ALL BIRCH SHELL" badges though, but you might just be lucky to find some somewhere on 'tinterweb. Patience, I find in these situations should be available in great quantities as it will most definitely be needed.
I will keep an eye out for anything that might fill your needs and let you know as and when I find anything... put some pics of your BLX up so we can all basque in it's beauty

Here are my BLX Pics. I bought this lovely set a few months ago at a relative steal, since i knew the seller, it was difficult for him to part with this set, but he knew they were getting into good hands. This set is in mint condition as you can notice. it features a 10, 12, 13, and 16" toms and a 22" bass. i currently use an OCDP 13" snare which is amazing and the colors match up very well. It is a great kit which i have no regrets investing in. I kept the heads they came with, mostly G2's and a Remo, they werent used that much and were relatively new heads. Anyways just wanted to share my BLX. enjoy the pics!!

Notice the tight space???? I currently live at home and have to stash the whole damn set in my room to minimize noise etc. I hardly have any space to play! i also have a practice pedal setup in there to practice at night :). Peace.

very nice indeed, and it sure is in good condition, mine has a few scrapes here and there from gigging, unavoidable unfortunately.
A fine investment, it will last you for life, bravo sir

what's so great about these drums by the way? Are they vintage, are they legendary or really high end?
They look like those hair-metal-drummer kits from the 80's...
