Default Shannon Lucas

I'm not sure how many people are All that Remains fans but I was wondering wat you all think of Shannon Lucas drumming on their new cd "The Fall of Ideals". In my opinion Lucas blows the original drummer away. His speed and control with both his hands and feet is amazing.

I definately agree with you about him. He did wonders on Fall of Ideals, he's got some awesome stuff on The Black Dahlia Murder's album Nocturnal, i strongly suggest picking it up

absolutely... Black Dahlia Murder are extremely lucky to have him and he has really taken them to another level.

I still can't even understand around a lot of the stuff from Nocturnal. at least for a lot of metal I can pick out what is going on, even if I can't play it, but Shannon actually makes my head spin.

yeah, he did an amazing job with that album, and somehow he makes blast beating some of the most interesting drums i've heard in a long time, considering i think blast beating is overused in a lot of metal, but he makes it fit so nicely that it just sounds amazing.
