Default Differences in Mapex Saturns

So there are 2 versions of the Mapex Saturn V: Exotic and Tour. The Tour is much cheaper, still has maple/walnut shells and nice finishes while the Exotic costs around 25% more than the Tour but has the same shells and "better" finishes. What are the differences between them? Was thinking of getting the Saturn V Tour if there are no significant differences between the Exotic and Tour.

I think the same goes for the Tama Starclassic Perf. B/B. The kit with 2 toms and virgin kick costs significantly less than the one with 3 mounted toms.
I do not associate with Snickers.

You've pretty much answered your own question; Tour series has wrap finishes, and the Exotic series has "exotic" wood veneer lacquer finishes. All other specs are the same.

The main difference is that the bass drums are 14Ē deep for the 20Ē Drum, and 16Ē deep for the 22Ē. Mapex kits tend to go with deep to extra deep bass drums so this difference isnít to be sniffed at if you like the Saturn but Baulk at 18Ē and 20Ē depths.
Aside from that itís possibly more to do with how the different lines are marketed, The Tourís sales pitch is around the benefits to a working musician of owning a simple 3 piece shell pack in the sizes that work for most people thatís wrapped and therefore better adapted to the rigours of the road.
Ironically Iíve seen new Mapex kits in similar configurations but as 4 piece shell packs (albeit with deeper bass drums) for sale at lower prices.
If you want the shallower bass drum and like the finish then go for the Tour, if not then investigate the Exotics, sparkles and wraps of the other Saturn lines.
