Default Hand Pain any tips how to play ?

2 years ago i fell on my wrist . And sometimes when i play i feel pain .Should i drop drums or no ? It doesnt hurt aways but if i try to pick up speed it starts . Should i buy a wrist protection perhaps ?

Check with a doctor. Could be you have some bone scaring from a break. Lots of bones in a wrist and a bone “spur” could be the problem.

Definitely a question for your doctor.

I would think that if it healed properly there should be no problem.

I broke my ankle and foot in multiple places many years ago. It took time to come back from it, but I'm playing.

It very well may have nothing to do with your old injury. Lots of drummers have hand pain from doing things the hard way without any old injuries. There are too many variables I believe to go with internet forum advice.

I've helped lots of folks with pain/injuries by helping revamp their technique through skype lessons. Drumming pain/injuries are unnecessary and easily avoidable, plus the music will thank you for getting out of your own way!
