Default Most realistic rebound surface to practice on?

Does anyone know a mix of the best rebound surface to practice drums on?

I look to get L80 cymbals with it.

So far I've heard of the RTOM black holes.. Mesh heads are too bouncy though.

Anyone know a good practice pad surface/mesh head that ins't too bouncy/rubber pad that I can practice on?

Any amount of budget will do (Considering that building a room in a room is way more expensive usually) . Since I'm moving house(into an apartment), I might be able to build a room within a room but for now I'm looking for cheaper alternatives if there's any.

Also, do let me know how bouncy the suggested pads are(a scale of 1 to 10 will do) so I can consider it better.

Thanks alot! :)
