Default Pick from these drum sounds! It's a game! : )

Everyone here has been so cool and helpful and I couldn't be more thankful. I know that I've been blowing up the forum with sometimes stupid things but everyone here is so much more knowledgeable then I am and when you all share info with me, it allows me to hit the ground running. In a few weeks or so I'll be meeting with a couple for an audition and I want to get everything in place as I'm practicing the songs.

So here's the deal...after I played my little game "is it an acoustic or E kit?" I was reminded that the sounds on the kit vary and there are some sounds that sound better then others. So what I've done is taken some recordings of 3 different snare sounds and 3 different hi hat sounds. I'm wondering if you pros might be up for giving me your opinions on them.

What's important to know is that my goal is to be in an 80's type rock band (Def Leppard, Whitesnake, crap like that) so that might help determine which ones you think are the best. So I guess I'm looking for not only more realistic sounds but also what would fit best for that genre/era of music.

Maybe if this goes well and there is enough interest I'll follow this up with a ride/crash "poll." Ha ha....thanks again!!!!

NOTE: I just listened to these through my crappy laptop speaker so if you're listening to them through your computer or phone, they are all probably going to sound like crap. I put my headphones on and they sound way better. Also I realize some of you don't like E Drums at all and I totally get that...chances are you probably won't like any of them but maybe you might find one that is better then the others?

For a hair band, those will all do just fine.

I like electronic drums when they sound like electronic drums (as in cheesy drum machines). I don't like electronic drums when they try to sound like acoustic drums.

Out of that lot, I like Snare 1 much more than the others and HH 3 or HH 1 the most.....

Snare three (or one, which I like better, but three seems more suited to Def Leppard type stuff) and hi-hat two. When I've used e-kits in the past, i found a lower pitched hat sits better in the mix.
