Default Interview with former Zildjian VP John DeChristopher

This week we proudly present music industry icon, John DeChristopher, former VP of the Zildjian Cymbal Company. In this show we cover a tremendous amount of prime musical real estate that will be (g)ear candy for all. DeChristopher started his industry career with a position at the Simmons Drum company before moving to Drum Workshop in the late 80s. However John is best known for his long association with the Zildjian Cymbal Company. In this episode John talks about: gear, how technology changed everything, education, clinics, endorsements, trade shows, and incredible personal accounts with industry legends and the world's greatest drummers.

Lastly in conjunction with our one year anniversary we are starting a video segment entitled, "Host Spotlight". We'll be posting performance videos from time to time to allow our audience to get to know us a bit better. Click the link below!

Fascinating interview. Thanks a lot for this.

It's more than just about the business side of instrument production. Told in the context of the drum and music industry of the last 35 years, it really is an insightful interview with a true "industry insider".

Thanks for the kind words, and I'm glad you enjoyed the interview. I have a tendency to ramble, so I appreciate you hanging in there and listening to it. :)

Cheers,
John
