I appreciate the effort but is that a 5/4 bar at the third measure from the end?

Its all 4/4 as far as I know, I transcribed it many years ago, before slower downer apps. Its a rhythm chart, not a note for note transcription. If you want to have a go, please post up your version.Regards Toni

Toni Cannelli is a drummer who stands out for his VERY original and always ultra interesting material, this example is another prove of that.

Yes, that bar in 5/4 shouldnīt be there and IīM SURE is an "involuntary mistake" (meaning, a distraction), because is easy to realize that someone who has done all the rest of the transcription can NOT mistake this...(if itīs understandable in my bad English). Probably itīs due to passing it from the sketch transcription to the final one. On the other hand is good that member "spelman" noticed it inmediatelly.

By the way one of the things I like, besides, as I said, the topics he selects, itīs the use of hand writting!

Me at a "drum battle" with Alphonse Mouzon (Berlin 1983):

THAT's pretty amazing!

And as far as the 5/4 bar in question that Tony wrote- I haven't heard the music, but it's probably just a typo like you said, where the 3rd beat is repeated in the 4th beat. You can see similar phrases in 4/4 throughout the transcription and I could see how something like that could sneak through, especially as you get to the end of a handwritten document.

Wonder how the Phonse is doing these days as he was in pretty bad shape the last time I heard?

I knew he set up a Go Fund Me page for treatments in Mexico, but being in the biotech biz, it pretty much told me he was in very bad shape.

Steve McQueen tried the same thing many years ago with the same results.

I'm seeing some amazing treatments that are being developed for cancer and such at biotech angel investor groups, but those are still a couple of years away from true efficacy.
