Default What's A Gig Worth

1964: in the midst of an American tour, the Rolling Stones spend $2,500 in airfares to get back to England in order to play a date at Oxford's Magdalen College committed to a year earlier the gig pays $170

Just last week I did a gig where I had to spend 450 on a new drum set (that would fit in a tiny space) and another 100 on heads to do a gig that I didn't get paid for.

Totally worth it.

A gig is worth exactly what you are willing to play it for.

Ya but it's Oxford! Cambridge they would have spent $3500. Birmingham?... they would have written it off?
