The P-85 made the music industry sexy once, it can do it again. I am an optimist.

I'm not sure, but Ludwig seems to be banking on it.

Anyway, what could possibly be sexier than a music biz in its death throes?

For forgetting it, the Mapex Saturn will seek a terrible vengeance.

Oh, but it already has; in a music store recently, I spotted a Saturn and couldn't resist taking a whack at it. I was excited to hate its sound as much as I hate its hideously massive badges and hilariously embarrassing new logo, but was completely taken aback by its lovely rich tones.

I reluctantly concluded that it wouldn't too much trouble replace the kick reso and either pry off the badges with a dull rusty chisel, or just unload a can of spray paint over them.

Damn you, Saturn!

You can buy a retrofit plate to replace those pesky Trick throw offs with P85s. Oh yeah, that will bring sexy back to your Travis Barker kit with 4" mirror bass drum hoops!

Didn't the P-85 come out right at the end of WWII? I don't think it saw any combat.

You are correct. But it did see service in Cambodia during the Viet Nam war - though, I can neither confirm nor deny that.

I believe the sexiest P-85 was parkerized.

I don't know if the P85's gonna make the music industry sexier... but the Tesla Model S P85 will certainly make your life sexier, both on the road and with the chicks :)

... and zero pollution from this great looking sport car!

THAT'S not a P-38, THIS is a P-38. I've had several in my lifetime. It's a deadly weapon, too. I should know - I had one confiscated going through airport security!

Oh bloody hell, if it's a "strainer" then you're doing it wrong.

Either that, or you need to begin a workout regimen.

Speaking of accordions, an accordion player was coming home late one night after a gig. (You already know it is a joke because accordion players don't get gigs.) He was driving and kept dozing off behind the wheel. Each time he would hit the shoulder and jar himself awake. He decided he was going to have to something about this or he would kill himself in a wreck. He pulled over at an all night truck stop and went inside to get some coffee. The only booth was way at the back so he seated himself there. The waitress came by and brought him some coffee. While he was sitting there stirring in sugar and cream he realized something horrible. He had left his accordion in the back seat of the car uncovered in plane sight. He dashed madly for the exit, out the door and across the parking lot, but it was too late. Someone had broken out his window and left...

...another accordion.
(Where is that shaggy dog?)
