Default Stone Custom Drum Co. Koa w/ new Sabians

Just about to do some tracking... Cymbals came in yesterday, new heads too. I'm ready to stand up innit!




Next week- new Gibraltar hardware

In the free issue of DRUM! that went out on the interwebs today, I saw a Stone Custom in among all the other snares in their big snare overview article. "Drop-deaad gorgeous", indeed!

Indeed. You've obviously gotten to try one out... how does it stack up against other bubinga/exotic snare offerings? How many plies?

I have two full kits- 17x20 7x10 8x12 12x14 14x16 in Maple/Poplar (three ply MPM) and also a Koa/Cherry kit same tom sizes with a 17x22 kick.

I'm quite happy with mine! Jere's the Maple/Poplar kit w/ a 6x14 Koa/Cherry snare
