Default Alex Rüdinger

This guy is the drummer from The Faceless, Haarp Machine, among others. He's ambidextrous, and the most amazing drummer I've seen in a while.

This guy is soooo killer. My band opened up for The Faceless last summer, and I got to shoot the shit with Alex for a bit. Really nice guy, super down to earth. It was a learning experience to be able to watch him play from the side of the stage.

The speed and power he has around the kit is pretty amazing. He reminds me of Travis Orbin for obvious reasons.

I heard he was Travis' student for a while. Definitely one of my favourite drummers (and the only one in my favourite drummers list who's younger than me!)

He was definitely Travis's student for a while. I love both of these guys, and also had the opportunity to see The Faceless last year opening for BTBAM. The way he plays is so invigorating to me, and he always keeps a good head about it. Plus, his video color-grading skills are much better than Travis's (though I tend to prefer Travis's composition and style).

Absolutely in my top 5 favorites.

Ha, That's funny. I saw them in chicago, probably the same tour you did. Was The Contortionist with them as well?

What's funny about it is that I started following Alex after he posted the 'Tempting Time' drum cover. Before that I had no idea who he was, then I started looking into his band at the time, and I can't seem to remember what it was right now. Anyways, I had no idea he was playing with The Faceless when I saw them. I would have payed more attention! I was more into Blake Richardson, though. I'm actually going to make a new thread on that matter. Cheers!
