Default Drums as light fixtures

We just finished a four week run of the musical, "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum", this afternoon and the cast and crew (and some musicians) went to this kitschy little restaurant. The name says it all but here are some pictures of the light fixtures.

I apologize for the picture quality but all I had was my wife's cell phone. I will go back with a good camera sometime soon.

That is fantastic!!

I have always wanted to make some bedside drawers out of some 16" floor toms

That's really cool, not sure if I'd be allowed to have anything like that at home though.

I have been thinking about making a bass drum into a coffee table and/or a floor tom side table if my girlfriend will let me.

I'll probably start small by turning an old splash into a clock and build up to the big stuff.
