Default Any other "dippers"?

This is kind of gross - no it is gross. I chew tobacco - I know, shame on me. It is a midwest baseball player thing that I never shook after high school. Anyway I noticed last night during a break that there were tiny little brown spots on my snare head - at first I thought it was dry blood but then I figured it out - yeah EWWWWW. So I switched to gum for the rest of the night and I think I will go that route going forward. Any other dippers experience this? I did not think I was playing with my mouth open - in fact I know I wasn't - but the spittle had to come from somewhere and I know it was not flying out of my spit up - yeah EWWWWWW again. Sorry if I grossed you out.

Usually the little brown spots on my drum heads are a combo of old sweat and lots of blood. Be it a callous that opened, or a knuckle that hit a rim.

I don't care. life is gross. I think the little jar or bottle next to the kit full of nasty saliva is a lot more gross than little spots on your drum.
