Default DWCP5002TD4

Does anyone know if this double pedal can be converted to use straps instead of the supplied double chain?

Im about 93% certain that it can't. I just picked up an AD4 and they haven't changed the cams at all. They still have teeth to link up with the chain....However, if you wanted to take the post axle out completely, you could do whatever you wanted, given you have the strap like cam...

Can the sprocket be swapped out with a round strap-drive version?

I don't see why not. The axle's the same on both.

The 5000TD4 can be converted into a strap drive. You will need to order the nylon sprocket so the strap drive can be installed. Use this part number DWSP045. The part can be special ordered through a local dealer.

DWSP045 CAM FOR NYLON STRAP w screws

DWSP046-4 NYLON STRAP W/ SCREW (4 PACK)

After playing around with my AD4, Ive decided I prefer the delta3 5000's, in general. They are less functional with the change out to hex screws from the key operated ones.

Oh, got it. So the accelerator is the one that has the elliptical cam.
