Default Water on electronic drum pads

Hi

Yesterday I got some water poured over my Roland HPD-10 Handsonic drum pads. It seemed to work after that, but one of the drum pads had almost no sensitivity. Today there is slightly, but only slightly more sensitivity. Does anybody know how these things work? Should I just wait for it to dry inside there, or do I have to get it repaired?

Default Re: Water on electronic drum pads

Hopefully it was not salt water. As with any electronic device that gets water inside, dry it with hot air and then hope for the best!
