Default Help! Searching for snare drum lugs.

Hi,

I've recently decided to clean up an old Sonor D440 chrome snare that's been sitting in the loft for ages. One issue I'm having is finding lugs that will fit.

The gap between the existing lug fitting holes is 20mm, and there is a rim inbetween these (see image below):

I thought that the ST-Drum variable lugs might do the trick:

but I think the rim will stop them from fitting properly.

Are there any lugs out there that might fit? I have six of the original eight (see below), so anybody who has a couple of these going spare might gain a friend for life!

Otherwise, does anybody have any advice as to what I might do? Besides the obvious (i.e. give up!)

Thanks,

Chris.

You could try just getting a double-ended single-point lug that only attaches in one of the holes. Ego Drum Supply makes great stuff, they should be able to help you out.
