Default Good instruction book for kids?

I would like to start teaching drumming to my 7yo son. I'm not a teacher, so I'm not sure what the best way to go about it is. Is there a good instruction book for kids his age that I can work through with him? Or at least a good lesson plan or progression for young ones?

What books did you work on with your teacher? You would probably be more comfortable with a book that you are familiar with.

Well, I started when I was 14 or so, with the goal of playing marching percussion, so I used Stick Control and Modern Reading Text in 4/4. I liked those books, but they might be a little dry for a 7 year old.

Basic Drumming by Joel Rothman is a good book for little ones.

Thank you both, I will check them out!

I was doing some searches on Amazon and came across this one as well, which has gotten some good reviews.

That looks good too!

I'm excited, going to pick up a used Ludwig Jr. kit for him this afternoon.
