Default 17" Ludwig Rims

Anyone know of a source for 17" Ludwig rims??

No, never heard of a 17" diameter drum. Do you mean a rim for a 16" drum? The rim would measure close to 17" because it fits over the hoop of the drum head...

Yes, they make them. If you find them I think I still have some heads. Come to think of it, I may even have rims. I will check when I get home.

Wow, cool! I had heard of the odd 11" tom, but the 17 is new to me. There are more things in heaven and earth...

eBay is your best bet. That, and calling around to vintage drum shops, like Maxwell's in New York or Revival Drum Shop in Portland.

Outer edge to outer edge is 16 7/8" .....

It's a 12x17 tenor drum, marching style

Four Ludwig Wheathermaster with green writing (very slightly scuffed), one Ludwig Strider silver dot (pristine). All heads are clear and new. $10 ea. your choice.
