Default New Evetts Drums

Hey Guys,

I haven't been here much recently. I thought I would share some of the drums I finished building over the past few months. These drums are made from either Blue Gum, Spotted Gum, Jarrah or Tasmanian Blackwood.

I have also put up a few basic video demos so you can see what my drums sound like. I'm planning to record and post more soon. www.youtube.com/evettsdrums

Let me know what you think!

Cheers
Steve

Nice veneers, & the videos sound pretty good too :) I especially like the figuring on the model with cast hoops (picture 6).

Thanks guys, I'm stoked you like them. The videos are very basic, audio recorded on a zoom recorder in a lively room and left natural. Next time I won't do the playing ;)

Thanks Tom. Most definitely mate, I send drums all over the world.

Price can vary due to a few options regarding the shell thickness and finish type. Feel free to shoot me an email at info@evettsdrums.com.au and I'll happily write up a quote for you.

Cheers

Personally, I dig #1. Those are some pretty drums, though high-gloss lacquers aren't usually my thing.

I'll take the last one so there is no gap when Bermuda takes his.
I also like the longer tube lugs so there is not too much thread showing. Nice Work.

Cheers guys!!

I have a few really cool drums in the paint booth getting a smooth satin finish. They will be awesome once finished!

Here is a video I made recently of one of my Spotted Gum snares:
