Default Question About SKB Rotocase with Gibraltar or DW Vintage Tom Mount

If anyone has a Gibraltar or DW vintage tom mount (curved rail that sits on the bass drum, like below), could you check the measured height from the shell to the top of the rail? I don't need the width or anything, just the height (and I'm crossing my fingers that, with it mounted on an 18-inch kick drum, the drum will fit in a 14x18 SKB hard case).

Replying to myself: it's a snug fit, but a DW Collectors 14x18" bass drum will fit into an SKB 18-inch "Marching Bass Drum" hard case (SKB part number 1SKB-DM1418). You can remove the entire tom mount (DWCP7771) while leaving the memory lock in place. Also, if you have the DW bass drum lifter (DWCP9908), it can be completely removed (except for the shell fixture), allowing the drum to fit in the DM1418 case.

I have a Gibraltar rail the it measures 2 1/4" from shell to top of the rail.
I have no problem fitting my 18" bass drum into a Galaxy brand drum bag with the tom mount folded flat.
