Default 22" Sabian ride cymbal - want to drill some rivets

First of all, thanks for being there.. I've been lurking for years!
My first two questions:

1. I play rock/funk oriented jazz and have decided to drill my 22" Sabian ride cymbal
to diminish some ring, with three or four rivets. Where to put them?

2. Is there a Complaints Department here in the Drummeworld forum?
I'd like to complain that the two brand new Evans 'Black Chrome' heads
I just purchased are dead/dull sounding compared to the ancient white coated
Remos they replaced.. 13" and 16".. they both sound like hydraulic heads of old.. I'm
quite disappointed in their dead response, so how to tell EVANS about it?

[Arky/mod:
Please ignore the 2nd question - I've created a dedicated thread in the respective forum section.
Please use that thread to reply:]
