Default Drum screws on double bass pedals

So I have a small problem with my double bass pedal screws... If i play using my double bass pedal for somewhat of a long time, the screws that attatch the connecting rod (I don't kow the actual term) to either pedal begin to loosen and usually fall off.. Its not that big of a deal if I'm simply using my kit to practice. Buuut I'm scared that one day during a gig, one of the screws will completely come loose and wont allow me to use my left pedal.... Obviously I could re-tighten it after every couple songs or so buuut do any of you have any better advice to fix my small problem?.. I have a DW 7000 by the way.. Thanks :D

Depends on how long it takes to loosen. Nothing lasts forever, so regular maintenance is to be expected. But if it's coming loose every few songs then that's not normal.

Try some blue Loctite.....just make sure it's not the permanent adhesive (red) or they'll never come undone.

I would try loctite as well. I don't know if there is a way to fix this without upgrading to a better pedal.
