Default So, I just went to my first metal show in a long time..

It was great! I took my 16yo son to see As I Lay Dying and The Devil Wears Prada. I am familiar with some of that style of music, but it was a real treat to see those drummers in action! They sure make it look easy. The day after when I sat down at the kit to tap a little bit, my son says..."I guess that's not so loud now". hehe.

I've never seen a big metal band live. I've got a M.D.B. Cd. great drummer! Wish I could play like that. It seems like a lot people on here, don't have a lot respect for metal drummers. But I think they are great. I can't play Jazz, but I think they are great drummers also. They are just different kinds of music. I did see Jason Bittner in a clinic. That was great. He's a very nice guy too. I glad you enjoyed the concert. I need to get out sometime myself, haven't been to a concert in yrs.
