SJC Snare Facelift

Picked up a used SJC snare drum a few weeks ago that'd seen better days. The majority of the hardware was rusted, there were numerous dings and scratches on the wrap and the heads were worn. I ordered some new hardware directly through SJC in hopes of bringing some much deserved life back to the snare. The hardware came in earlier today and I just finished assembling it. It still needs some fine tuning to get it sounding the way I want but it sure looks a lot better. Here are some before and after pictures. Enjoy!

Nice job :) Original lugs were absolutely horrible. The new mini lugs look much better :)

That is nice! It looks like the badge changes colour from to silver to gold in the pictures or is that just the light?

The original hardware was chrome, the new hardware is brass. The hardware on my kit is brass so wanted to match it.
